Lubovitch's work is acclaimed for its musicality, rhapsodic quality and sophisticated formal structures. This master class will begin with a modern-base warm-up to live percussion followed by repertory. The repertory chosen will be catered to the dancing level of the participants and may include phrases from the touring works North Star, Crisis Variations, and The Legend of Ten.

Spellbound, one of Italy's most respected contemporary ballet companies, is classically-trained. Artistic Director Mauro Astolfi's technique is centered in the search of fluidity, while empowering the ballet technique. This master class will explore different patterns, dynamics, and partnering while encouraging students to push to the edge of their technical skills.

The Trocks, a gender-bending troupe of 'mallerinas,' has charmed audiences worldwide with its technical and humorous interpretation of ballet's most celebrated works. This traditional ballet class to live piano music will explore the troupe's daily practices and training and how they prepare for touring.

This is a rare opportunity for dancers to try something new, hone their skills, and enjoy movement, and for non-dancers to shed inhibitions and discover their hidden capabilities. Although Pilobolus-like techniques and principles will be taught, the workshop is designed to bring anyone of any skill and experience to the next level while having a lot of fun.

England's Motionhouse is known for its contact and release techniques, and productions filled with stunning digital imagery. This class will examine its unique fast-paced movement vocabulary using the floor, working from a grounded contemporary base and often drawing on a range of dynamic partnering skills. It will feature themes and phrases from its current repertoire including the touring work Scattered.

Students will gain insight into Parsons' training techniques that have wowed audiences for 30 years.. The class will consist of a warm-up and combinations in the style of Parsons Dance - an hour and a half of rigorous, invigorating and contagious energy that challenges and motivates one to meet his/her technical and artistic goals.

RNDC has an eclectic repertoire tailored to the talents of its versatile dancers who can dance anything. This contemporary jazz class will include a thorough warm-up with technically-challenging phrases and combinations that move across the floor as well as excerpts from its touring repertoire. Dancers should wear jazz or ballet shoes and be ready for a fun, challenging and inspiring class.

DTH returns to the world stage after an eight-year hiatus. In this ballet master class, students will experience the high quality instruction that has made Dance Theatre of Harlem one of the country's most legendary training centers. The class to live piano accompaniment will include barre work and center floor combinations.
