Dance Celebration presents The Dancemaker: Generations and pays homage to the brilliant choreographers who set new standards for the art form through innovation and experimentation. These dancemakers create works that tell stories that reflect the society and world we live in today. Dance exposes students to problem solving, teamwork, and critical thinking. Young audiences are transported to new worlds of the imagination and awed by the conditioning and expressiveness of these world-class dancer/athletes. Since dance addresses laws of motion, physics, mathematics, history, life skills, earth science and cultural studies, teachers can easily connect the performance to their curriculum and fulfill state standards. Let your students experience the beauty and magic of dance while strengthening their academic skills.
